Mashup Math Terms of Service
1. Introduction:
Welcome to Mashup Math! By using our website and services, you agree to these terms and conditions, which govern your use of our website and any services that we offer (collectively, the "Services").
2. Trial Membership:
All new Mashup Math Membership accounts include a free trial period starting from the date and time that your account is created. However, this benefit does not extend to the Infinite Math Worksheets plan, which begins immediately upon account setup without a free trial period.
All new members who sign up for a paid Mashup Math Membership account will receive an email with their trial information, including their trial end date, along with a notification that they will be charged on this date unless the account is canceled beforehand. This email will also include a link to the “Your Account” tab that will allow you to cancel your membership.
Trial periods are only included on new membership accounts for first-time users. If a customer has already used a free trial period and subsequently signs up for a membership plan again in the future, the customer will not be eligible for another free trial period and will be charged for the membership plan at the time of sign-up. We reserve the right to determine whether a customer is eligible for a free trial period, and may limit or refuse free trial periods in our sole discretion
If you sign up for a membership plan that includes a free trial period, you must cancel your membership before the end of the trial period to prevent being charged. Failure to cancel your membership before the end of the trial period will result in your being charged for the full membership fee. We do not provide refunds for membership fees charged after the free trial period has ended.
3. Mashup Math Membership Account:
Your paid Mashup Math Membership Account will allow you to access all of our math puzzle libraries, activities, and resources for the duration that you are an active member.
4. Mashup Math Infinite Worksheets Account:
Your Mashup Math Infinite Worksheets Account is exclusively designed for unlimited access to our comprehensive math worksheet libraries. Please note that this plan is tailored specifically to provide worksheets and does not include access to our member dashboard.
5. Cancelling Your Account:
Customers can cancel their account at any time by signing in to their account and accessing the “Your Account” tab at the top of the Member Dashboard or at the top of the Infinite Math Worksheets landing page, or by submitting a request for the account to be canceled. The timestamp of a submitted request will be used to determine when the account has been canceled. If the request is not processed until after a new payment has been charged, a refund will be given.
If you would like help with canceling your account on your own, see this help center article.
6. Automatic Renewal:
Your paid Mashup Math Membership Plan or Infinite Math Worksheets Plan will automatically renew on your scheduled payment date unless the account is canceled prior to this date (see section 3 for detailed information on canceling your account).
For example, an annual membership plan with a scheduled payment date of January 1st, 2017 will automatically renew on January 1st, 2018 unless the account is canceled prior to the renewal date. If the account is canceled prior to the renewal date, you will still have access to your member dashboard until the renewal date, which will now effectively become an expiration date. After the expiration date, you will no longer have membership access and your account will not be charged again unless you reactivate your account and join a new membership plan. In this example, if the user were to cancel the account on May 15th, she would still have access until the account expires on January 1st, 2018.
Plans created using a coupon or promotional code may renew at non-discounted rates after the first term of service (i.e. first year, first month, etc.). The details of any stipulations related to a coupon or promotional code will always be disclosed within any promotional offer made available via email publication or social media post.
To identify your scheduled payment date (i.e. the date that your account is scheduled to automatically renew) you can check your renewal date at any time via the Your Account tab on your member dashboard or by contacting us via email to request your renewal date.
7. Refund Policy:
Given the nature of digital content, a refund or credit on a purchase is not granted once payment has been made and services rendered for any membership plan. However, the customer has the option to cancel the account at any time to prevent any future recurring payments.
Our refund policy for new customers:
Customers who cancel during the free trial period will not be charged. It is the responsibility of the customer to cancel their account during the free trial period to avoid being charged. Note that the Infinite Math Worksheets Plan does not include a free trial period.
Customers who fail to cancel a Mashup Math Membership Plan during the free trial period will be charged the full monthly, bi-annual, or annual membership fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for any charges that are incurred due to a failure to cancel before the end of the free trial period.
Customers who sign up for an Infinite Math Worksheets Plan must submit a payment to activate an account. The Mashup Math Infinite Worksheets Plan is designed to provide immediate access to our extensive library of math worksheets upon subscription. Please be advised that this plan does not include a free trial period, and as such, your payment method will be charged at the time of purchase. Due to the nature of this instant-access plan, we are unable to issue refunds once a payment has been processed. We encourage customers to review their selection carefully before committing to the Infinite Worksheets Plan, as all sales are final upon confirmation and payment.
Our refund policy for renewing customers:
We only offer one refund per customer.
We do not offer refunds for monthly Mashup Math Membership Plans.
We do not offer refunds for bi-annual Mashup Math Membership Plans after 14 days of charge.
We do not offer refunds for annual Mashup Math Membership Plans after 30 days of charge.
We do not offer refunds for annual Infinite Math Worksheets Plans after 30 days of charge.
Considering the digital nature of Mashup Math items and the type of item preview that was available before purchase. There is generally no obligation to provide a refund or credit in situations like the following:
you have changed your mind about your membership plan;
you purchased a membership plan by mistake;
you do not have sufficient expertise to use the membership plan; or
you ask for goodwill
8. Disputes lodged with payment agents:
If, as a buyer via your Mashup Math Membership or Infinite Math Worksheets account, you lodge a dispute with a payment agent, this will result in a freezing of your Mashup Math Membership or Infinite Math Worksheets account until the dispute raised with the payment agent has been canceled. This makes it very complex to resolve any related issues and means we cannot make payments or issue refunds, so we encourage buyers to contact us directly first to see if we can help resolve any concerns.
Furthermore, we take all customer concerns about financial charges seriously. However, if you dispute a charge with your credit card company, we will, when applicable, submit counter-evidence that includes documentation demonstrating that you agreed to our refund policy and terms of service when you created your account.
As a responsible business, we strive to provide transparent and accurate information to our customers, including our refund policy and terms of service. We have these policies in place to protect the interests of both our business and our customers. When you created your account, you clicked 'yes' to indicate that you agreed to these policies and understood their implications.
We hope to resolve these matters amicably and encourage you to reach out to us directly if you have any further questions or concerns.
